Krystoff Antier (1968 - )
Biography
Krystoff Antier was born in 1968 on the banks of the Loire River. Krystoff is a French artist with a passion for technique and architecture. He has been painting and sculpting since the age of 8, moving from oil to clay and bronze with equal dexterity. Mastery of technique and gesture are essential elements in his quest for the ideal form.
His works reflect the neoclassical style, while adding a touch of modernism. His vision of the city is one of modernity, as the viewer is immersed in a space characteristic of large contemporary cities, such as a loft in New York or Hong Kong. But the city we see through the windows of the loft is Paris. Krystoff's paintings make us admire Paris, its history, its monuments and its emblems.
The contrast depicted by Krystoff between the city of Paris and the modern interiors, which are not Parisian, makes us dream and invites us to imagine ourselves in these cosy apartments, contemplating the City of Light. Krystoff thus captures a memory, an emotion, that of a night spent dreaming in Paris.
Krystoff has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the title of ‘Master Sculptor’ at the International Salon in Eger, Hungary. His paintings are featured in many private and public collections in France and abroad.
